


Brian is a longtime producer, director, and writer of television docu-series and feature films. He has recently written his first novel, and begun podcasting. His first podcast series, “A Developing Story,” was ranked #1 in local news podcasts nationwide by Goodpods.
His movie producing credits include Robert Redford’s THE CONSPIRATOR, the JFK assassination film PARKLAND, which he produced with Tom Hanks, and World War II survival film AGAINST THE SUN starring Tom Felton, which Brian also wrote and directed.
For non-fiction TV, he has filmed in war zones, refugee camps, and natural disasters, and created long-form documentaries and series exploring history, crime, the environment, human rights and food. Brian covered the war in Rwanda for PBS newsmagazine “Rights & Wrongs,” produced and directed the Food Network series “Throwdown with Bobby Flay,” wrote episodes of Travel Channel’s Emmy Award-winning “The Zimmern List,” and was the director and showrunner for the MSNBC original series “What’s Eating America,”and the Emmy-nominated PBS original series “Hope in the Water.” He is the co-creator of the Outdoor Channel series “Feral.” He has been a featured speaker at Sundance and SXSW.
Brian was born and raised in New York’s Mohawk Valley and spends his time in both New York and Los Angeles.
